Jackson, who once said we were labeled “too reckless too ghetto.” That phrase wasn’t meant as a compliment—it was used to dismiss the way we dress, talk, move, and live. But here’s the thing: those same traits they criticize are what set trends around the world. What they call “reckless” is often fearless. What they call “ghetto” is usually authentic.
